Marcelinee Chaturbate is one of the central characters from Cartoon Network television show Adventure Time created by Pendleton Ward. She’s a fun-loving 1,000-year-old vampire queen who plays an electric bass guitar made out of their family battle-axe and also practices magic skills; romantically involved with Princess Bubblegum.
As with most vampires, Marceline is sensitive to sunlight; however, her exposure only results in her being burned when directly exposed. Additionally, Marceline has obtained invisibility through the Nightosphere Amulet and can create mist of vaporized blood with one bite; additionally she consumes red-hued objects that she bites while leaving their objects intact. Marceline can typically be seen wearing a thong and long midnight-black hair that reaches down past her feet; her teeth are slightly crooked while she has two bite marks on her neck indicating how she became a vampire.
At first, Marceline was very independent and often made decisions without considering Finn or Jake’s feelings. Over time she evolved a more mature personality by considering more carefully the consequences of her actions; eventually becoming more sympathetic towards both friends and community members alike. By the second season she became particularly attached to Hambo (her teddy bear) which Ash sold off to Maja; furthermore in season 3’s episode “What Was Missing”, there is even evidence suggesting she and Bubblegum may have had an intimate relationship at one time, something which was confirmed during season 4’s series finale episode “Come Along With Me”.
She enjoys reading comic books and cooking. Additionally, she possesses an expansive musical vocabulary allowing her to compose songs for her friends and other residents of her town. Bubblegum and she have formed an important bond, often seen hanging out together during season 7 events.
As a teenager, Marceline Abadeer was quite rebellious. She believed her father, Hunson Abadeer, hated and would not allow her to come near him; later however he came around and they developed a healthy and loving relationship together.
